I replaced the ice maker assembly, which included the motor and electronics. I also replaced the door seal and the input cold air duct seals. The ice maker is mounted with only 2 philips screws, so it is easy to remove. The most difficult part is the harness, specifically the ground screw. The issue is that the wire is short and you need to turn the unit in order to get a screwdriver in. It would help to have a short screwdriver, but I was, finally, able to remove it with the full length... Read more

I replaced the lighting display / control circuit board. This was quite easy to replace after I figured out how to gain access to it. I finally found someone who posted how to replace it - you basically pull the whole assembly (ice/water delivery assembly, with display) out from the front without any prying. It just snaps in and out with a little effort. I wore some of those skin tight rubber gloves to add a little friction. Then it was easy to replace the circuit board. I actually ended... Read more
