I installed all the necessary parts that I received from you and it works great, now. I received the parts in good time without overnighting them. I had the whole washing machine apart and went through it all before ordering parts. Tear down and assembly was easy. I just took my time. The washer is 17 years old and was well built. I used the schematics, parts lists, Q & A section, and how to videos and also chat to diagnose the problem. But the problem was intermittent. So I had to replace the two probable parts responsible. Also in the process of moving the machine a tub support pad had broken and fallen out. As a note: it really isn't necessary to remove the tubs to replace the tub support pads. GOT TIRED OF ICKY CLOTHES AND SMELLY SHEETS AND PILLOW CASES, SO ORDERED PARTS TO REPAIR SLIGHTLY DAMAGED MACHINE. BROKE SOME PARTS ON IT WHEN IT TIPPED OVER MOVING IT ONE DAY. HAD EPOXIED TIMER TO INSIDE OF MOUNT CAUSE BROKE OFF TAB EARS AND SCREW DOWN PAD WHEN IT FELL. WORKED THREE YEARS THIS WAY UNTIL IT WOULDN'T AGITATE ON RINSE CYCLE. USED HOT AIR GUN TO BREAK EPOXY BOND, CLEANED UP AREA, MOUNTED NEW TIMER SWITCH. PUT ON NEW END CAPS, PAINTED A FEW SCRATCHES, AND PUT DOG KIT IN AGITATOR.... Read more

Catches lint, threads, and strings.
Removed control knob that was broken also. Removed two screws and tilted top panel back. Removed two screws holding timer in place. Disconnected wiring harness from bad timer. Reconnected wiring harness to new timer. Used two new screws provided to place timer in position. Let top panel down and replaced two screws holding it down. Installed new control knob. Read more
