After a few days of our 16 YO Frigidaire Affinity front-loading washer (model ATF7000EG0) dancing around the room bellowing like an elephant in musth, I decided to fix it. Well, technically, my wife decided I would fix it. I was willing to buy a new washing machine but, t found that I could not find an undercounter model that would fit in the space without major remodeling. Remove the detergent drawer by pressing the release in the rear of the drawer. Located slot for magnet and placed magnet is slot. Magnet clips in place. Replaced detergent drawer and ran washer! Read more
Replaced the water valve assembly. did not really need the dispenser part. problem mainly caused by hard water buildup where the hose connects. also replaced the hoses as they also had some hard water buildup. Read more
The frame came w/o the latch, the description caught me off guard thinking the latch comes in the frame so once I figured out how to remove the latch I installed it in the new one and put it all together in about 45min. Read more
