This was a very easy fix. Two screws to get the front off of the washer. Removed one side of the tensioner spring. Loosened two screws for the motor and two screws for the pump. I decided to replace the agitate belt even though it wasn't broken.. So, I removed that belt from the pulleys and the removed the broken belt. then just reversed the process to install the belts. it toke me less than 30 minutes and my washer was back in service. I replaced the fill valve assembly with a new one. Had to look carefully at the parts diagrams to make sure I ordered the right one since the serial number break old vs. new didn't seem to match the number on my machine. On this particular machine you don't need to pull it out too far from the wall-leave the hoses connected to the valve, remove the screw holding the valve bracket, and pull into the washing machine where you can easily access the hose ends.
