My dishwasher wasn't cleaning properly.....residue was being left on the dishes and a puddle of water remained in the machine after the load was supposedly done Stephen R. • Philadelphia , PA • March 30, 2014
I knew from experience it was a clogged secondary filter. We keep a kosher kitchen and it's big enough to have 2 dishwashers......one for meat dishes and one for dairy dishes. The meat one tends to get clogged more than the other one, as it is dealing with animal fats that tend to leave residue inside the secondary filter. The filter is almost impossible to clean, so buying a new one is the easiest solution. I have done this before. Change the filter, clean up any other filters that are...

No error codes just not washing like it was supposed to and not cleaning dishes Paul B. • Elizabeth , CO • September 14, 2015
Ordered the new o-rings for the pump housing and main filter screen unit. Cleaned all water hardness and other debris out of all parts. Main filter and inside parts clogged with water hardness/limescale and other debris. The 3" wide round filter internal was completely clogged with debris and some of the filter holes we crystallized with water limescale. The pump was in good shape but all the filters and parts just needed to be cleaned.

Leaking hose upper spray arm and drain hose replacement Elizabeth D. • Afton , VA • May 19, 2015
Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. Removing dishwasher requires disconnecting power, water, and drain line--tools will vary depending on connections. i replaced drain line because original install was not done correctly--hose too short--You could probably do just this w/o pulling unit. All parts arrived very quickly and fit correctly.

Dish washer did a lousy job cleaning dishes due to a non rotating spinner at the bottom Gwendolyn S. • Hingham , MA • October 10, 2015
My son fixed it. Problem was one of the spinner pieces had worked itself loose and jammed the large arm from freely spinning.

Maytag dishwasher would not rinse Wayne M. • Cloverport , KY • December 05, 2019
Lower spray bar had what looked like spaghettis blocking & protruding from holes on top. Upon further inspection found to be some type of fiber. Further, inspection revealed fiber came from rinse arm. Ordered a new spray bar from you, arrived in three days. Clean all including filters/spray bar put all back together ran like new. The time listed below includes troubleshooting and a little head-scratching.

Noisy dishwasher Lawrence S. • Westlake , OH • March 16, 2015
Bought a pump repair kit and then had to buy a discharge pump housing and a check ball. I could have used some other parts as some were brittle, but they were obsolete. The dishwasher runs quiet and seems to clean well.
