I pulled up a YouTube video of the Maytag repair for the part. After I had a visual of what to do, I took the door off the stove, removed the trim pieces in order to get the front cover off, then removed the broken trim piece the door handle attaches to, put the new part on (and it looks amazing!). Unfortunately, despite some dedicated efforts on the part Audrey Patrick and others, the problem was not solved. I replaced the door hinges, liner and gasket, but none of these solved what I believe is a flawed design. Thankfully, AppliancePartsPros generous return policy allowed me to pursue the repair without risking the cost of failure. My thanks to the company and to all those who were involved. Read more
