Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. I called and talked to a customer service rep and she helped me troubleshoot the problem and order the correct part. She also sent me the pdf of the repair manual and I followed its instructions to replace the drain solenoid. It was a fairly easy repair. I wasn't sure if I would need the water level control switch, but I ordered it to be on the safe side. Turns out the original is still good. Read more

For belt driven models
These springs work great but I did find some issues when installing them. Here's what I did: 1) Turn off the power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker or fuse panel. Once you remove the kick panel there are a lot of exposed wires that carry live power. 2) Remove the kick panel. There are 4 screws (on mine one was missing). A nut driver makes it much easier.
