While trying to install the tine, I broke a clip! So, I went in to order a new clip and decided to just fix all the missing parts. I ordered a new inner door panel. Removal of the inner door panel was pretty simple. Hardest thing was figuring out how the hot air vent was removed. Just twist the inner ring about 90 degrees counter clockwise and it comes loose. Mine was tight due to the residue that built up over time. Read more
Using one of your videos, I used a circuit tester to determine if the element was intact. It was faulty. Getting the part from you went well. Finding the serial numbers using your guidelines, allowed me to order the right replacement heating element. It was just a few days and the part was delivered - everything that I needed. Ordered and received the parts quickly. This is a very easy fix. Other posters have said there are 4 screws to remove the old rack adjuster assembly and put the new one on. It was five screws for me. You will need a Torx (star tip) screwdriver. Be sure to also order a new cover. The old one does not fit, even though mine looked almost identical to the new one. You'll also have to take the blue lever that raises and lowers the rack from the old rack adjuster assembly and insert it into the new... Read more
