I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more

I am a plumber by trade so I was guessing my way through this. It took me a while to figure out that I had to drill out the screws that held the burners in place. The screws were so rusted that I couldn't tell that they were philips.
