First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more

Easy to fix. Remove the back of the frig cover- remove the 2 retention clamps. Place new part attach the 2 region clamps and close the back. 20 minutes inclusive of vacuuming dust out of unit bottoms. Read more
