This replacement temperature control housing secures and protects the appliance's thermostat/temperature control assembly and helps position it for accurate sensing. Replaces a cracked or damaged housing to restore proper mounting and protection. What it does:
First replaced water/ice maker solenoid switches at bottom of refrigerator with no improvement. Then replaced filter head and the base that was broken. That fixed the problem as the filter head had started leaking when cap/filter was removed. The bucket was an easy fix. There is a film on the website showing exactly how to replace it. The ice crusher was a bit of a problem because it had to be completely taken apart -- many small parts to put back in order!! We used the diagram from the website, plus I took photos from various angles before we took it apart. We were careful, and with patience, it went back together.
