My wife found soapy water on the floor of the laundry room. I removed the front access cover on the washer and found water in the bottom of the washer and seeping our the drain holes. Running a rinse and spin cycle showed water leaking out of the pump all the time there was water in the tub. I ordered this pump and after watching a youtube video of someone else doing it had no trouble installing it. Problem fixed. You do need a torx head screw driver T20 or T25 to remove the pump from the motor. Read more

Replaced the drive belt and the belt tensioner. It is a ten year old washer so the parts were really wore out. I watched a couple of videos on You Tube and that really made it a lot easier to do.You can see what needs to be removed and how it comes apart before you start working on it. Found belt tension idler worn down to the bushing, found the drum rollers stiff and hard to turn, found belt worn and starting to crack. Ordered all of these plus front slide pads. Replaced and now feel confident the dryer will run without problems. Absolutely need a pair of snap-ring pliers for this job.
