This is an axial fan blade that is used on air conditioners. The axial fan blade helps move the air around to increase circulation. The replacement process is very easy and can be completed within about 15 to 30 minutes. Pliers will be needed.A new axial fan blade may be needed if the fan is cracked, broken, or damaged in any way. Please note that this component is just the fan blade itself, not the motor. I purchased a thermocouple in hopes that it is the problem. Probably will not know for sure until next summer. With a little studying of the unit it wasn't terribly difficult to replace. Part arrived quickly. It is a large unit 18,000 but which is 10 years old. Sliding the unit out on to a couple of saw horses was the most challenging part. Read more
