This lower oven heat shield is a factory-style replacement panel that protects internal components from direct bake-broil heat and helps direct oven airflow for consistent cooking. Restores heat protection and prevents heat-related damage to nearby parts. What it does:

• Shields wiring, insulation and under-oven components from direct heat and hot spots
• Helps control internal oven heat flow for more even cooking
• Reduces risk of scorched or warped parts caused by excessive localized heat
• Common symptom: visible heat damage, burnt insulation, or a missing/warped shield

• Disconnect power (and gas supply if applicable) and allow the oven to fully cool before beginning work
