This left-hand oven door hinge assembly restores smooth, spring-assisted door movement and a tight seal. Replacing a worn or bent hinge helps the door close properly, reducing heat loss and improving cooking performance and safety.
- Supports and pivots the door; spring mechanism controls opening/closing tension
- Helps the door close fully and compress the gasket for a proper seal
- Corrects sagging, misalignment, or popping doors caused by hinge wear
- Common symptoms: door won't close or stay shut, drops open, uneven gaps, heat escaping, oven light stays on

Oven door was difficult to remove and put back on Steve B. • Greensboro , NC • February 27, 2017
The door hinge latches were bent, which made it difficult to remove the door and re-insert. The door hinge design was changed from a pin insert to a latch from the previous model. Unfortunately, the latch on the 24 inch oven is thin and easily bent, which is likely the source of the problem. I purchased spare door hinges to facilitate re-installing the oven door should I ever have problems with removing and inserting the door again.
