Color: silver. Measures about 11-1/8" x 6-1/4". For matching aluminum filter, use: WB6X486.
The charcoal filter in the GE Microwave Oven was falling apart. Despite the directions, it is difficult to pull out but eventually worked it around the outer flange. Putting the new one in is a simple slide in. Then replace the grill and put the two screws back in. Read more

Taking all the pieces apart is quite difficult. You have to bend the plastic pieces in just the right way, all while avoiding damaging anything permanently. It was stressful. Still, in the end, and after multiple attempts I did get everything attached correctly and now I have a working door/microwave. Read more
Purchased new handle. Customer Service person, Daneile, was very helpful and research as to need for additional screw required by unavailable. Was able to purchase similiar self tapping screw from local hardware store. Job completed Read more
