Replaced the Water Inlet Valve and Drain Hose. Read more

First I removed the three screws thathold in the trim and thought that the piece would just pop out. I was wrong. I had to remove the front door cover in order to remove the trim piece. Once removed the new piece snapped right into place. Screwed the front panel back on, and then replaced the three screws that hold the trim piece in. Time it took was about 20 minutes after I figured out how to go about it. All in all it was a fairly simple job. Read more

I replaced both the door seal and the lower door seal. The lower seal was a bigger job and I used a number of YouTube videos to walk me through it. It was a pain, but it worked. Had I called the appliance store the following would have happened - After a week they come out and verify, yet it is leaking and they will need to come back in a week or so after ordering parts. We ordered the spring and the fiber connecter. The parts arrived, but all the videos showed the replacement of the spring and cord. So I took the dishwasher out from the cabinet and thankfully could see how the other side was done, so copied the same pattern with the spring hook pointed to the opposite side. Put it all back together, making sure the hoses were not kinked and the cabinet screws in the same holes. Happy camper it all works just fine. Read more

The dishwasher was leaking from the lower right corner of the door. I ordered new seals for the door perimeter and the base. As I pulled the hinge covers, I noted that the right hinge bushing was damaged.
