My wife,discovered that our dishwasher was leaking water; onto the floor,be concerned,we called a repairman to look into the problem. I put in 4 new parts ad gave it a try. had water under dish washer about the size of a half dollar , I dried it up and washed more dishes and pots. No leak that time, and it has been doing fine since. I'd say water was just what was laying on the water lines and shook off. If you see water the first time don't worry wipe it up and use it some more to see if it leaks. GOOD LUCK!!! Read more
This O-ring is a small rubber sealing gasket that prevents water leaks at a refrigerator water connection. It restores a watertight seal to stop drips and maintain proper water flow to the dispenser/ice system. What it does:
I took the pump apart to exam, checked drain hose and sink drain first, everything looked OK. After studying the problem for a while I decided it had to be in the filter, ordered a new filter and it took about 10 minutes to replace. After getting the new filter I realized that there was a check ball rattling inside the new one that my old filter did not have anymore, the real cause for the pump not to drain. P.S. Replaced the seal with new one, direct fit, nice tight no leaks, took 5 minutes to replace, make sure to clean inside the grooves before installing new gasket Read more
