The Sound Shield is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It is designed to fit around the dishwasher tub and help shield surrounding areas from noise generated during washing cycles. The sound shield works to absorb sound vibrations and maintain a consistent noise level by insulating sensitive components.
