This quality part is a user control and display board for dryers. This is a component that is located inside the dryer. The user control and display board offers a way to control the dryer cycle times and manage all the components of the dryer. It can also be used to choose the ideal temperature for the appliance during a cycle. If this component is no longer working correctly, the dryer may not turn on, could be cooler than expected, or may not turn off.If this part is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Before starting the process, make sure there is no power to the dryer. Move the dryer away from the wall to have access to the back. The cover should be removed by using a screwdriver on the screws that hold the cover to the frame. Slide the cover forward to lift it up. Next, the screws on the control board bracket can be removed. Tip the assembly into the dryer and press in the clips to take off the cables. Replace with the new part. The user control and display board is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sold as a single component. It is made to be a replacement part for Estate, Roper, KitchenAid, and Whirlpool dryers.

Just two screws in the back to remove the console, unplug the electronic board and the old one is off. Reverse the process to install the new one (keep the screws as they are not supplied). Entire process is five minutes. Appliance repair company wanted over $400 for this fix. Read more
