Washer not draining or leaving standing water? This drain pump removes water from the tub at cycle end. Requires front panel removal for installation.
First checked for clogged drain hoses and then replaced the drain pump. Most of the time replacing the pump was taking the door and front panel off of the machine. Read more

Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Took the back cover off, noticed the bolt holding the rotor on was broke off in the shaft which wore the stator and rotor. So I drilled out the broken bolt and extracted it with an easy out and replaced the stator the rotor and the bolt. Works great ! I maybe had 2 hours time in it and that includes taking it out of the laundry room and into the garage to work on it and back. Read more
