This electronic control board replaces the appliance's primary control module to restore responsive controls and reliable cycle operation. It provides the logic and connections that manage functions, timers and user inputs. What it does:
Googled the problem and it boiled down to the center and/or side control circuit assemblies. The tech manual hidden inside the top of the unit shows how to gain access to these units, and I replaced them both. It solved the problem. Hardest part was figuring out how the front panels come off dryer, the rest was easy. The circuit boards require a torx/star driver to remove - can't remember the size. Read more
