This is a dryer main control board that is used to manage all of the operations of the appliance, such as temperature and drying time. It allows the user to make changes to the dryer, such as selecting temperatures, dryness, moisture levels, and more. The control board has a variety of small parts and can become damaged. When this occurs, the main control board may no longer work and the dryer may not come on.Several tools, including a small slot screwdriver and a ¼ inch nut wrench are needed to replace this main control board. Make sure the dryer is unplugged and the gas is turned off if appropriate. The dryer will need to be moved away from the wall to take apart the top panel and pull it over the dryer. Note where the wires are before taking the main control board out. The new one can be installed while making sure the wires are placed in the right location. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. The main control board is designed for use with Speed Queen and other brands of dryers.
