This replacement door insulation pad helps restore the oven door's thermal barrier so the appliance holds heat more efficiently and runs quieter. Designed as the internal padding used behind the door liner. What it does:
- Replaces worn or damaged inner door insulation to help maintain cooking temperature and reduce heat loss
- Reduces outside-door heat and can help limit condensation on the outer door surface
- Helps dampen noise caused by oven operation and rattling door panels
- Use when insulation is torn, compressed, burned, or missing
What's included:
- One inner door insulation pad
Install notes:
- High-level tear-down of the oven door is typically required; follow the manufacturer's service manual for safe disassembly
- Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) and allow the appliance to cool completely before starting work
- Handle insulation with care and use gloves and a dust mask if the material is friable
- Reassemble panels and fasteners to factory torque and verify the door seals correctly after installation

Some buttons on control panel stopped working Timothy K. • Bay Saint Louis , MS • March 14, 2015
The 'Chat with a Pro' guided me to the correct part. The part arrived in two days. The repair was simple. I partially slid the oven out to access the sides, undid the two bolts on each side, removed the wiring connections and the panel came off. I then moved the control board to the new panel using the same nut driver, and reversed the process to install the panel. Very easy.
I could have purchased the panel for about $30 cheaper but the return policy at Appliance Parts eased my mind. I had...

Burned out oven bake element Richard S. • Camano Island , WA • May 19, 2015
Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. Reverse the past few steps and re-attach the wires and screw. Simple as that. I also chose to replace the Broiler Element as a...
