We replaced the lid hinges with new bushings as this is a very old machine and they were worn out affecting the position of the hinges and thereby affecting the lid switch. Replaced the agitator drive connector and dogs, worked well after a very quick fix. The second machine had a bad lid switch, replaced and solved the problem. Only took a few tools and a short amount of time and easy to do. Chat room was a good source of information. Read more
