The thermal fuse was bad i suspected the push to start relay might be bad Barry W. • Cheyenne , WY • April 11, 2017
I troubleshot it by looking at the wiring diagram I found under the control panel. I suspected the door switch. I watched a video on how to replace it which helped me get access to it and test it with a multimeter. I watched a video on the push to start switch. Testing it was a little vague. So, I ordered that part. I found in the comments a guy who did the same and then after replacing the part and it still didn't work replaced the thermal fuse. So, I tested the thermal fuse and it failed...

It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. At first, I noticed that the rear felt seal was completely worn out, so I thought that extra friction between the tub and the rear panel might be causing the motor to have to work too hard and overheat. I ordered a new seal from appliancepartspros.com, and installed it according to their instructional video, but it did not correct the problem. Then I decided that the motor must be going bad, so I watched the on-line video on how to remove the...

Missing front panel plug & burned out light bulb in dryer drum Will S. • Shelby Township , MI • September 28, 2015
When I found the dryer off Craigslist, I didn't notice until recently the front panel plug was missing. I ordered the plug from Appliance Parts Pros, got the part & installation took seconds as it was a snap-in part. Couldn't be any happier. Also discovered the drum would not light up when the door opened. Ordered the bulb also from Appliance Parts Pros. Unplugged the dryer, unscrewed the lens cover, removed the burned bulb, cleaned out the light area, installed the bulb, replugged the...
