Once I got the part, it was a simple matter to push the flexible rubber hose through the bracket which held the hose securely and directed the water into the basin of the sink. This part never came with the GE product.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
Water temperature was reversed hot instead of cold and cold instead of hot Kevin K. • Covington , LA • October 11, 2016
Automatic Temperature Switch was bad. Some reviews said it was the temperature varistor located on the hot and cold inlets but that was wrong. Temperature resister was at 52K which seemed higher then expected. But since it wasn't open, I guessed the ATC switch was bad. My guess was correct. Used a puddy knife to pop open the control console. Released the switch and rotated it 45 deg , removed knob and removed switch. Make sure the 2 clips or placed in the top console then snap down. Both my...

Neptune mah4000 had a no spin but did pump water out but not all of it Guillermo S. • Chicago , IL • March 06, 2017
I had the problem couple years ago I bypassed unbalance switch it worked fine for a couple years and had the same problem again so ruled out unbalanced switch. Door lock light on and checked made sure wax motor pushed out all the way too the second switch for spin check OK, so took a chance on displacement switch x2. My family loves to over load it and also replaced by passed unbalance switch and boom every thing went back to normal. Its also good to clean every thing when apart.

Agitator won't move or slips during wash? A worn drive shaft causes weak agitation. This shaft transfers motion from the gearcase to restore firm engagement.
Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
Agitator was not turning Edward M. • Glen Allen , VA • March 10, 2019
I had to replace the drive shaft and the lower agitator. The motor coupling was also worn out. The repair was challenging because I had to rebuild the gear box. This step was really messy and I had to wait for the liquid gasket to set prior to completing the repair. Cleaning and prep of all of the parts tripled the repair time.
