I bought the part and opened up the washer and replaced the part. Looks brand new!! :D. If you come accross the sam problem just make sure to take a lot of pictures to be able to plug all the cables back in.

Replaced console.
Plastic hinge was broken behind the start button so it could not hit the "real" switch on the circuit board. It did not ever click or make any noise. It was obvious when I took the console apart. Three screws on back of console and I think three screws covering the circuit board with a plastic cover. Only trick for me was carefully prying the circuit board out of the grey plastic. Easy DIY...
Fast shipping, correct part. Not sure what else you could want from a parts store.
