Ordered water inlet solinoid valve and water temperature probe sensor. Items arrived in a few days. Appliance Parts Pros on-line video was extremely helpful for replacing inlet valve. It only took 20 minutes. Recommend replacing temp. sensor probe while old valve is out before mounting new valve. Only 2 screws-Easy. Entire job took about an hour start to finish. Saved at least $150 doing it myself over repairman and saved $750 over replacing the washer. Happy wife, happy life! Read more
Replaced control board assembly and housing as a unit, since problem likely at the switch or the relay and neither part available to me. Removed original board assembly from housing to inspect, found no visible damage or corrosion Found the correct board configuration by searching the model number online and looking at several websites. Replaced lid switch Read more
Missing plastic clip on lid switch was the problem. Replaced plastic clip, washer operates good as new. Pliers are needed to seat the plastic piece securely onto the lid switch. Read more
The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Putting the new parts on was an easy 5 minute job. Read more
