Drain Hose
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WH41X374

The Drain Hose is an OEM part for GE washing machines. It is specifically designed to channel used water out of the washer and into the household drainage system.

Causes of a bad drain hose can include physical damage from movement or installation, clogging from lint and debris, or degradation of the hose material over time, leading to leaks and inefficiency.

Symptoms of a bad Drain Hose include:

  • Water leaking from the back or underside of the washing machine
  • Pools of water around the area where the washing machine is installed
  • Signs of wear or damage to the hose, such as cracks, holes, or bulging

This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Electronic Control Board (Washer)
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WH49X10085

This electronic control board manages key washer operations so cycles start, run, and finish as designed. Replacing a faulty board can restore proper agitation and spin performance and resolve intermittent or no-run behavior. What it does:

  • Regulates drive motor operation for agitation and spin
  • Processes inputs from sensors/switches to carry out selected cycles
  • Coordinates start/stop, speed, and direction commands to the motor
  • Common symptoms of failure: won't agitate or spin, intermittent stopping, motor won't run, visible damage on the board, or related error codes

What's included:

  • 1 electronic control board

Install notes:

  • Disconnect power before servicing; observe ESD precautions and handle the board by the edges
  • Note/photograph wiring; transfer any jumpers, brackets, or mounting hardware from the old board if applicable
  • Ensure all connectors are fully seated and harnesses are undamaged before powering up
  • Run diagnostics or recalibration if required by the model's service/tech sheet after installation

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Teeth on timer switch and knob had stripped off   Al Z. • South Boston , VA • January 11, 2016

Replaced both switch and knob. BE SURE TO UNPLUG! Remove knob by removing clip on timer shaft between knob and control panel with needle nose pliers . Remove back of control panel (three 1/4" head screws), push plastic control panel forward enough to get access, unclip wiring harness, remove one 1/4" head screw holding timer, slightly twist timer to release tabs, and remove. Assembly is reverse of above. Really easy, takes more time to get washer out and back in place than it does to replace... Read more
