Replaced the spider on the back of the inner tub. Cleaned all orifices and re-secured same. General cleaning. Replaced broken balance ring along the out edge of the inner tub. Video was fantastic although I did not see it until almost had the unit torn down. It still helped a lot to know that I was doing what I had to do and then reattaching everything. The video repair produced by Appliance Parts was excellent and enabled me to do the job. It took longer than I thought because I had no experience with this type of repair. I ended up replacing the whole tub assembly because three spider bolts had to be replaced and the spider did not come with the bolts which ended up costing me almost double. Bolts from LG should have been provided with the spider because they are stainless and special bolts. They also could not be bought separately. Based... Read more
