This outer tub is the large sealed housing that surrounds the wash basket and holds water during cycles, restoring a watertight casing for your washer and preventing leaks and water loss. Use when the tub is cracked, warped, or leaking. What it does

• Inspect and replace seals, bearings, and related fasteners as recommended; do not assume other parts are reusable.
• Disconnect power and water before starting; handle large parts carefully—two people may be needed.
