Over time, through extensive wear and tear, a door assembly can become damaged, making the door difficult to open or close. If the door assembly is not in great working condition, it might be a good time to replace it.To replace the door assembly, Open the oven door and remove the screws in the brackets that attach the hinges. Once removed, lift up to pull the door out of its hinges and set it to the side. Install the new door by placing it on its hinges and resecure the mounting screws that hold the door in its place. Once secure, open and close the new door assembly to see if it was installed correctly. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, Sears, and Kenmore brand ovens.
