The drum in my front-loading washer had stopped spinning. After searching through the AppliancePartsPros forum, I determined it was one of three possible dead parts. There was plenty of info to help me narrow it down to those three, then test and diagnose it down to two of the three. My only stumbling block was that apparently GE changed the model number from WCVH6260FWW to WCVH6260F0WW (adding that extra zero after the F) and it made finding info a little difficult. Replaced it. It was fairly easy to replace. The best part is I tried to have someone service the machine, but the part was on backorder from GE at least 14 weeks. Appliance Part Pros got me the part in 2 days. Read more
