Searched online what could be causing the problem after mopping water for a good 30 minutes. Chatted online with a specialist at Appliance Parts Pros. After trying several things by process of elimination I was advised that the problem was more than likely the water level switch. Ordered the part. It arrived in 2 days. Missing plastic clip on lid switch was the problem. Replaced plastic clip, washer operates good as new. Pliers are needed to seat the plastic piece securely onto the lid switch. Read more

The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Found a crack in timer knob, where it slides over timer. Ordered new timer knob, pulled off old knob and slid on new knob. Works as new now. Read more
