Looked on internet to see what could be wrong. Did not have tool to determine whether electrical part of valve was bad. However, when I turned the water off at the source and started a wash cycle I could hear the hot water part of the valve hum, but not the cold, so I felt fairly confident the valve was bad. New inlet valve. Hot still wouldn't work so I tried the cold wire to open the hot and it was fine. Ended up changing the water temp selector as well and it works. May not have been the valve after all. Read more
I took the front cover off, and listened to the water pump, and it sounded like there was an obstruction of some sort in the pump. So I ordered a new pump not knowing what I would find. When the new pump arrived, I removed the old pump, and installed the new pump. Now it works beautifully. I used my wet dry vac to suction the water as I was removing the tube from the pump (there is always water in the tubes). No mess. Read more
