Leaking hose upper spray arm and drain hose replacement Elizabeth D. • Afton , VA • May 19, 2015
Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. Removing dishwasher requires disconnecting power, water, and drain line--tools will vary depending on connections. i replaced drain line because original install was not done correctly--hose too short--You could probably do just this w/o pulling unit. All parts arrived very quickly and fit correctly.

This water level switch senses the dishwasher's tub float and controls the water inlet. Replacing a worn switch restores correct filling, helping prevent overfilling or dry cycles that can reduce cleaning performance. What it does:
- Monitors the float position to open/close the fill circuit at the proper water level
- Common symptoms: dishwasher won't fill or stops filling too soon
- May also cause continuous filling/overfill if contacts are stuck closed
- Intermittent operation can leave the tub underfilled and washing performance poor
What's included:
- 1 water level (float) switch
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Remove the toe/kick panel to access the switch near the float assembly under the tub
- Note wire positions; transfer connectors one at a time and secure the switch in its bracket
- The float moves freely and actuates the switch before reassembly and testing
This part fixes the following symptoms
-
Will not drain
-
Won't start
-
Will not fill with water

Dishwasher wouldn't drain Ken S. • Columbus , OH • August 18, 2018
I called and talked to a customer service rep and she helped me troubleshoot the problem and order the correct part. She also sent me the pdf of the repair manual and I followed its instructions to replace the drain solenoid. It was a fairly easy repair. I wasn't sure if I would need the water level control switch, but I ordered it to be on the safe side. Turns out the original is still good.

Door kept falling down at the slightest touch James S. • Albany , CA • July 13, 2016
These springs work great but I did find some issues when installing them. Here's what I did:
1) Turn off the power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker or fuse panel. Once you remove the kick panel there are a lot of exposed wires that carry live power.
2) Remove the kick panel. There are 4 screws (on mine one was missing). A nut driver makes it much easier. A flat blade screwdriver can be used but it will be much more frustrating.
3) Latch the dishwasher door and remove the access covers...

Broken dishwasher rack stop Leslie L. • Eugene , OR • May 27, 2015
A simple fix after finding the parts at Appliance Parts Pros (other parts sellers listed the part as discontinued). I slipped the pin out and removed the old rack stop, and slid the pin through the new rack stop. Less than 5 minutes.
