The Slide Rail is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. It is designed to support and guide the movement of drawers and shelves within the refrigerator, ensuring smooth and effortless access to stored items. The slide measures approximately 7 inches. This assembly contains 2 slides
Over time, slide rails can become worn out or damaged due to frequent use, exposure to heavy loads, or accidental mishandling.
Symptoms of a bad slide rail include:
- Drawers or shelves not sliding smoothly
- Difficulty in opening or closing drawers or shelves
- The drawer or shelf becoming misaligned or stuck
- Noticeable wear or damage to the rail
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

First I had to remove the right glide that had 2 screws. with a T-20 star bit. Then
I did the same to the left glide . replacing both glides I just reversed the process.

The cover crusher on my ge ice maker bucket shattered it hasn't been working well since we originally got the refrigerator sometimes we had to scoop ice out rather than get it through the door William H. • Cary , NC • August 15, 2015
I looked for a site that sold replacement parts for my make of GE refrigerator. I found AppliancePartsPros, and was very surprised at how organized it was. By entering the model number of my refrigerator, I was shown a set of (approximately) 8 general parts diagrams for my refrigerator. I chose the ice making/dispensing diagram. I matched the part that shattered (from use) to what was on the diagram.
What I didn't know was how to install the part. I saw references by other customer comments to...

Cracked water dispenser line Ryan H. • Johns Creek , GA • August 23, 2015
After researching elsewhere and not getting much help or confidence I would get the right part or even be able to do the repair myself, I stumbled upon this website and found it much more helpful than even GE's site. After watching videos here on similar fridges I ordered the part for my fridge and got the line replaced in about 30 mins (really a whole morning but that was to clean out and clean my fridge). I found that whoever had installed the first supply had routed it next to the...

The refrigertor compressor was making a loud noise when the unit was cycling off Nathaniel J. • Bossier City , LA • January 08, 2017
I ordered a clip retainer which hold the compressor in place. First, I discovered there are four clips and the one which I could easily move or turn by hand I ordered a replacement. The part came fast. In less than two minutes I had completed the repair.

Ge side by side psc25 series ff section was not cooling well (42 degrees best it could do) Robert B. • Morgantown , WV • October 19, 2014
Common theme on the blogs was thermistors and or defrost heater/thermostat. Ran self-diagnostics which turned on defrost heater which was fine. All five thermistors indicated ok on diagnostic also, but I read more than one time "replace the thermistors no matter what if your FF section isn't cooling". So I ordered all five thermistors and defrost limiter thermostat. Received all in 48 hours (great shipping service), took me about three hours to replace all thermistors and thermostat just as...

Many many things apparently fridge warm then freezer warm David I. • Golden , CO • January 05, 2015
Temp sensors (3 or them), new heater, then finally custom cool/fan and shroud to bring the fridge temp back up. I don't believe the sensors were bad as the checked fine with a millimeter, coil heater was bad as they were frozen solid, and the fan was intermittent. I originally thought I fixed with the coil heater, but the fridge stopped working about a day later. Discovered the problem using the door switch. If you press the switch, the custom cool fan should turn on to circulate cool air...
