This grill cover handle is used to open and close a grill. If the handle is missing, opening the grill can be difficult and dangerous. Over time, heat from the grill can cause the handle to become cracked or break and fall off. When this happens, the handle should be replaced before using the grill. It is not advised to use a makeshift handle or open the grill with anything other than an OEM handle. Open the grill cover and look underneath to locate the screws for the handle. Remove the broken handle using a screwdriver. Save the screws for installing the new handle. Remove the handle from the packaging and line it up with the predrilled holes on the grill. Make sure the holes align. Install the screws from the backside of the lid and tighten. Close the grill. This grill cover handle is made of durable plastic and is sold individually. It does not come with installation screws. It is designed for use in grills manufactured by General Electric.
