Whirlpool W10297244 Ice Stripper Kit OEM Part

My fridge was too cold - everything was freezing solid, even in the produce bins. The air from the diffuser vent was constantly running. After unplugging the fridge and plugging it back in, the diagnostic code on the control panel indicated that the air diffuser was not working. I purchased a new air diffuser, watched the very helpful video that showed how to install it, and replaced the part in about 10 minutes. The next day, I can tell that everything in my fridge has finally begun to thaw out. So happy! This part saved me from spending $1500 on a new fridge. Thank you, Appliance Parts Pros!

I purchased the part that I thought was broken from AppliancePartsPros.com, and used the video associated with the part to replace it. The video was excellent. The only problem I had was getting my hands into position at times, but it was only a minor problem. I also found as I disassembled the ice maker that the actually part that freezes the ice probably needed to be replaced also, but I could not have seen that on my initial inspection. I will definitely purchase this new part from AppliancePartsPros.com, and use the video to replace this part as well.

The video was great - followed the instructions - replaced the parts - icemaker is working like new now.
