This high-voltage rectifier diode is used in the microwave's high-voltage circuit. It converts AC to DC so the magnetron can produce heat. A failed diode can cause no heat, loud humming, or a blown fuse when starting. What it does:
I replaced both the Magnetron and the high voltage diode. I now have a fully functional microwave. I received the parts on time and the quality was good. I would use appliance parts pro's again. Read more
