This video will help, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDmFpLSyiDo I also filled the space around the screw hole in the handle with epoxy to add strength and used a #8x1 1/4 screw, 1/4" longer than original to reduce the chance of a future failure. Naomi L Pasadena , MD November 11, 2024 Appliance: General Electric Microwave Hood Combo JNM3163RJ1SS The handle broke and i tried to fix it with wood glue and other stuff but it didn’t work so i had it ducked taped for years till a friend told me he could fix it for me My friend fixed it for me. He had to get all the wood glue and other glues I used off. So it took longer than normal. Otherwise it’s an easy fix. He did have to use a washer to help it stay in place since the hole was bigger from getting the wood glue off. And it’s a perfect match too!!! Read More...
