Removed screws on the inside of door that removes the front door panel. The detergent dispenser is held on by a bracket with six screws. There is one plugin that needs to be disconnected. Reid J Greensboro , NC May 12, 2019 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL MODEL WDF310PAAT4 The soap door would not open when it needed to during the wash cycle Turned the power off to the dishwasher, like you should do anytime you are working on a appliance. Then I took the front cover off, and took the wires off the dispenser. Took the bolts holding the dispenser in with a nut driver or could use a small socket. Then put the new dispenser in place and put the bolts holding it in back in, plugged the wires back in, and put the front cover back on the washer, and then I was finished. It took about 20 minutes to do the whole job. P.S. it takes a torch bit to remove the screws holding the front cover on. Read More...
