Description

This carburetor is intended for use with lawn tractors. Carburetors ensure the engine receives a proper, enriched mixture of fuel and air.With extended use, carburetors can fail, but they may also be damaged by contaminated fuel. Excess oil can back up into this part also causing it to stop functioning. If the tractor's engine sputters, stalls, or releases black smoke, the carburetor could be damaged.Be sure to wear gloves before replacing the carburetor. A wrench, a screwdriver, and a clamp will assist in removing the carburetor. Clamp off the fuel line to the old carburetor before removing it. Add the attachments and hoses to the new carburetor.
