Bradley B Castle Rock , CO December 09, 2015 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL RCC3024LT01 Broken stove glass cooktop Turned off electricity to the stove. Removed the four heat control dials from the top of the cooktop. Removed the rubber seal that was below each dial. On the underside of the stove counter there were 4 brackets that held the stove box to the counter so that it could not be lifted or moved out of the counter. Each bracket was attached to the stove box by one phillips head screw. Removed the screens freeing the box and cooktop for removal. Stephanie T Covington , KY February 04, 2017 My glass cooktop was scratched It was very easy to order the replacement glass from AppliancePartsPros.com and it arrived in two days. It took about 45 minutes to replace the glass. The old glass was 10+ years old so the new one looks fantastic and this fix was 1/3 of the cost of a new cooktop! Read More...
