Tom for Model Number SHE65T55UC/07 For the last month now, our dishes on the upper rack are not being cleaned, in fact, there is more stuff on them after washing then before. It seems the Center Spray arm is getting no water - arm turns freely, and there is noting clogging up anything. Dishwasher is 13 months old - and is used 2-3 times a week. Everything in the filters below looks good, and there is lots of water in the bottom, as the bottom arm sprays quite well, just nothing in the middle. What do I need to look at / replace??
Answer Tom, you will want to check the diverter motor assembly to make sure that there is no debri preventing the diverter from directing water to the upper spray arm assembly. If your motor is not turning to engage the diverter into the necessary position, you may want to check to make sure that it is getting the voltage required for it to operate. If it is receiving voltage and not rotating, you have a bad motor. If it is not receiving voltage when the unit needs to alternate the water flow, then you may have a bad wire connection, wire, or control. Another thing you may want to check is to make sure the entire upper spray assembly is clear from where it connects into the sump assembly all the way to the spray arms themselves. Read More...
