Jennifer for Model Number SHU5312CU/UC12 My dishwasher hasn't been washing as well as usual, so I have cleaned the filters and spray arms. THere was some debris. In the top spray arm, there is a hole at each end. In one end there is a securely fitting white thing (kind of looks like a TicTac) The other end has one too, but it moves around that side of the spray arm. Are those TicTacs supposed to be there? Is there a way to get the loose one in the correct position?
Answer Hi Jennifer. At the top of the dishwasher there is a spray head part # 00167301. The side openings (and all) need to be clear. It is to our amazement just how any small debris can get pushed into a hole and plug it. Use a pick tool or a sturdy pin to dislodge it or to clean it. Then you flush it out under ther sink.
