Manufacturer Part Number: 00167085

This circulation pump repair kit is a genuine Bosch part, sold individually. This circulation pump repair kit can be used as a replacement part for a dishwasher. This part supplies all of the necessary components to facilitate the replacement of the dishwasher impeller and seal. The impeller of a dishwasher sprays and drains the water during a standard dishwasher cycle, and the seal keeps the interior of the dishwasher protected from external materials.A circulation pump repair kit might have to be ordered as a replacement part for the impeller and seal of a dishwasher in the event that the impeller and the seal suffer damage that prevents the components from serving their dual functions. Damage can include punctures, tears, scrapes, or warping from general wear and tear or as the result of a direct impact collision with a hard object. If this occurs, the circulation pump repair kit should be ordered as a complete, genuine OEM replacement part. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This circulation pump repair kit is compatible with the following appliance brands: Bosch, Kenmore, Thermador, and Gaggenau.

Howie for Model Number SHX56B05 UC/14 (FD 8211-)

Hello - replaced the impeller on the machine (which was broken) with your circulation pump repair kit; followed your video (which is very well done). Everything matches except the wiring, which I labeled as disassembled. The only wires I may have screwed up on would be the 2 running to the drain pump. In your video, you have 2 doubled wires and my machine has a single and a double (as I recall). There are the 4 tabs in a vertical order and I may have missed which of the 4 get the 2 clips - I reassemble using the 2 in your video (the lower of the 2 in the top grouping and the top one of the 2 in the lower grouping). What's happening is that the unit turns on but seems to be in the middle cycle with the new impeller or possibly the drain motor making noise but no water going to the machine. It also starts making the noise immediately upon turning unit on before closing the door - canceled out cycle but doesn't matter. Only another thing I can think of was when replacing the door front on my model, there are 4 screws across the top (2 long for the corner and 2 short next to the latch. When I assemble I was distracted and started the 2 longs where the short go (next to latch) - question here would be could I have hit some wiring in the display module that would be causing the above-mentioned problem...if I really can't hit anything with the longer screw than it must be a wiring mix up? Thank you.

Answer

Howie, For this issue, it sounds likely that you may have miswired the unit. Unfortunately, we do not have a wiring diagram but if you look at your unit there should be one on there that you could look at on how to wire the unit.
