Cindy for Model Number SHE53T52UC/07 Dishwasher drain pump continued to run long after cycle was done. The only way I could stop was to flip the breaker. So I cleaned the filter . ( Hardly anything in it ) . Replaced filter, flip breaker on. The control panel doesn’t work. I checked the door , didn’t find anything there. The drain pump starts again. What can I do .
Answer Cindy, you will want to turn the breaker off and inspect underneath the dishwasher tub and in between the tub and base. On the left hand side of the base section is a foam float that acts as a leak sensor and if water starts filling the base, it will shut the water valve off and only allow the drain pump to operate. If there is water in the base section, you will want to clear it out and inspect for where the water leak is originating. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 1, 2019
