Doug for Model Number WFXD8400UC I have water in the drain pan under the washer. It appears that the cap for the drain Pump has a bad seal. I can see water coming out of the cap. I took the cap off and cleaned the filter and reassemble the cap. I believe that more water was coming out before the maintenance but there was still water coming out after the maintenance. I had to use a pair of channel locks to get the cap really tight but there is still the table spoon or so that will get past the seal during a complete wash cycle. My question is does Bosch make a replacement seal for the cap or must I by the whole pump assembly which I ASSUME will come with the cap and seal? Can the pump cap with seal be purchased independent of the pump? My pump does not appear to be leaking anywhere else and as near as I can tell there is no other place that the water is coming from. There may be a negligible dribble from the door seal but only a drop or two during the wash cycle nothing that would be a huge cause for concern.
Answer Hello Doug. You need to replace the pump assembly on the unit to repair the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 15, 2013
